Legendary trio Crosby, Stills & Nash (CSN) makes its only Los Angeles area performance this year on April 13 at Club Nokia for the Light Up The Blues Concert—An Evening of Music to Benefit Autism Speaks, the world’s leading autism science and advocacy organization. The all-star fundraiser, emceed by Jack Black, also features Rickie Lee Jones, Ryan Adams,Lucinda Williams, Don Felder, Chris Stills, plus three student performers with Autism,Lexinton Aaron, Rio “Soulshocka” Wyles and Nick Guzman. Actors Amy Brenneman,Christina Applegate, David Maricano, Max Burkholder and Michael Chiklis are part of the program as well.
The event spotlights Light It Up Blue, Autism Speaks’ annual global awareness and fundraising campaign celebrated by the international Autism community during World Autism Awareness Day and throughout Autism Awareness Month in April. Proceeds from theLight Up The Blues Concert will go towards Autism Speaks’ research and advocacy efforts for families and individuals impacted by the disorder.
