CROSBY, STILLS & NASH RELEASES ITS FIRST THREE ALBUMS ON HD TRACKS

HIGH-RES DIGITAL AUDIO OF CROSBY, STILLS & NASH, CSN, AND DAYLIGHT AGAIN AVAILABLE NOW

CSN WRAPS 2012 WORLD TOUR THIS MONTH WITH FIVE NIGHTS AT NYC’S BEACON THEATRE

In partnership with CSN Records and Rhino EntertainmentCrosby, Stills & Nash (CSN) is digitally releasing its first three albums in high-res audio on HD Tracks this week. Crosby, Stills & Nash (1969), CSN (1977), and Daylight Again (1982) are available in high-res audio digital formats for the first time.  Founded by David and Norman Chesky of the audiophile-record label Chesky Records, HDtracks is a high-quality music download service with the largest online library of DRM-free CD and DVD-Audio quality downloads complete with liner notes in a PDF format.

The group's 1969 debut album Crosby, Stills & Nash is one of Rolling Stone's "500 Greatest Albums of All Time."  The track listing features now-classic songs including "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes," "Marrakesh Express," "Guinevere," "Helplessly Hoping," and "Wooden Ships." When CSN wraps up their 2012 world tour with five shows at New York City's Beacon Theatre, they will play the album in its entirety, for the first time, as the second set of the final show on October 22.

CSN features tracks including "Dark Star," "Just A Song Before I Go," and "Cathedral."  Standout tracks from Daylight Again include "Wasted On The Way" and "Southern Cross," a crowd favorite on CSN's 2012 tour, which has drawn capacity crowds and strong reviews. Writing for MSN Music, Mark Brown noted, "At Red Rocks in Colorado on August 21, CSN absolutely killed it.  Every song.  No lulls.  No filler...It's hard to believe that any band in 2012 would be putting on better shows than it did in 1969, but CSN did just that."

Earlier this year, the group released CSN 2012, a 25-song set presenting CSN's first live performance film in more than 20 years.  Captured in high-definition during the early portion of this year's tour, the set is available worldwide from CSN Records in Blu-ray, DVD/2CD (3 discs), and Digital formats (distributed worldwide by Alternative Distribution Alliance). CSN 2012 also features complete concert footage and bonus content-including a conversation with David Crosby, Stephen Stills, and Graham Nash, and "on-the-road interviews" with the group's band and crew.  MOJO's review said, Stills' biting Robbie Robertson-esque lead, Nash's bell-like vocals and Crosby's jazzy rhythm guitar all weave together to form a zephyr of blissed-out rock, folk, blues and harmony.

More than four decades since CSN first harmonized in Laurel Canyon, and played their first-ever concert as a trio at the legendary Woodstock festival, its members continue a creative partnership that is one of the most influential and enduring in music.  David Crosby, Stephen Stills, and Graham Nash have each been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame two times-once with Crosby, Stills & Nash, and a second time with The Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, and The Hollies, respectively.  They have also been inducted into the Songwriter's Hall of Fame, with the honor recognizing both CSN as a group, and each member as individual solo artists.
