Summer may have just begun, but that doesn't mean we aren't already looking forward to AmericanaFest in Nashville, as well as its accompanying Americana Music Honors and Awards. Ahead of the show, the Americana Music Association has just announced this year's annual Lifetime Achivement honorees, a stacked list that includes Iris DeMent and Graham Nash.
Graham Nash and Vanilla Fudge drummer Carmine Appice are among the well-known musicians who have signed on to be artist ambassadors for 2017’s Make Music Day, which takes place June 21.

Graham Nash proves once again, that brilliance and thoughtfulness knows no bounds. For his entire professional life, Nash has never missed a beat in his pursuit of reminding whoever was willing to listen that one’s principles are defined by mutual respect and that we all should never accept any abuse of power on any level. Unfortunately, Nash has never had a shortage of abusive behavior to observe, which in turn, inspires his outrage and opinions.
Graham Nash has added a series of fall North American dates to his 2017 tour itinerary. The new shows, which follow a previously announced U.S. summer trek, run from a September 23 concert in West Long Branch, New Jersey, through an October 15 gig in Milwaukee.
Hugs for Chelsea includes Nash's song "Almost Gone," which the folk-rock legend co-wrote with Crosby, Stills & Nash touring keyboardist James Raymond about Manning in 2011.
